Our Story – Rooted in Resilience & Purpose
The idea was created by a single mother who raised six beautiful children and who understands that life isn’t always fair and our journeys aren’t always easy. She is a woman who has been labeled for being strong , standing on her own and who has felt the ridicule of being misjudged or cast aside for doing nothing wrong . In spite of this she chooses to still see the good in others .
The mission of this company is to design edgy clothes and accessories as well as niche products that raise awareness and provoke conversation of who are you ? Are you the sinner or are you the saint ? This brand is about you .
We seek out this conversation as we believe all of us have a little of both and to create awareness that every situation is not always what it seems on the surface just as we are deeper than our surface also
Not only do we aim to create this conversation in order to help others realize that we all express ourselves differently but to raise awareness for our personal cause of bringing light to other unhighlighted injustices in America dealing with our prison system .
In todays society one in three people have been in jail , on probation or has been affected by mass incarceration , whether it’s ourselves personally or someone we know and love . Does this make everyone affected a bad person ? We simply feel that the circumstances that have led us down these paths need a deeper look , whether it’s family history , difficult circumstances or simply poor choices . We all have a struggle and understanding starts with us .
Here at sinner saint we have been impacted as well . We aim to bring awareness to the systemic problems that has affected you , while simultaneously raising awareness to the thousands of people sentenced to life in prison as teenagers as young adults (under 25 years old ) who will not be given a second chance
